Terms of Use

Last updated: April 22, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Golder. They are a legal agreement between you and Golder, so please read them carefully before using the platform.

1. Introduction and agreement

These Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you (the user) and Golder (the service provider). By creating an account, accessing the platform, or using any feature, you agree to be bound by these terms and by our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform.

2. Definitions

In these terms, the following words carry the meanings shown below:

  • “Service” means the Golder SaaS platform, including the web app, mobile app, and related APIs.
  • “Account” means the workspace created for a specific gold shop and managed by an account owner.
  • “User” means any person who accesses the service, whether as owner or invited member.
  • “Branch” means a physical or logical location of your business managed inside the service.
  • “Content” means any data, text, numbers, images, or files you enter into or upload to the service.

3. Eligibility

You may use Golder only if:

  • You are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
  • You use the service for a lawful business purpose in connection with a gold shop or related trade.
  • You are not prohibited from receiving the service under any applicable laws or sanctions.

4. Account registration and security

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when you create your account and for keeping it up to date. Each gold shop should operate a single Golder account.

  • Keep your login credentials confidential. Do not share them with anyone outside your business.
  • Use a strong, unique password and enable any available account protection features.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • You remain responsible for activity performed under your account, including by users you invite.

5. Service description

Golder is a software-as-a-service platform that helps gold shops manage their day-to-day operations. Core features include:

  • Inventory management across multiple karat categories.
  • Sales, purchases, and cash register tracking.
  • Branch management with per-branch access control.
  • Reports, exports, and pricing insights.
  • Arabic and English interfaces, on web and mobile.

We may add, change, or remove features over time. We will not remove features you rely on without giving reasonable prior notice.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service in good faith and in compliance with applicable laws. You must not:

  • Use the service for any activity that is illegal, fraudulent, or misleading.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, servers, or networks.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the service, or attempt to bypass usage limits.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the service or any part of it, except as permitted by law.
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property, contains malware, or violates the rights of others.
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties without our written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

7. User content and data ownership

Your content remains your property. You retain all rights, title, and interest in the data you enter into the service, including inventory, sales, customer records, and configuration.

You grant Golder a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, back up, and display your content solely as necessary to deliver and support the service. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account, subject to the retention periods described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

All rights in the Golder platform — including the software, source code, design, interfaces, trademarks, logos, and documentation — are owned by Golder and its developers, or licensed to them.

Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without prior written permission, except to identify that you are a Golder customer.

9. Subscriptions, fees, and payment

Golder is a paid service after the trial period ends. Current pricing and billing rules are as follows:

  • The monthly price is $20 per month for the first branch plus $10 per month for each additional branch.
  • The yearly subscription equals 10 months of the monthly rate and remains active for 365 days.
  • Payment is accepted via Sham Cash only, in Syrian Pound, US Dollar, or Euro.
  • Subscriptions are activated manually once payment is confirmed. Activation time can vary depending on processing.
  • All amounts are non-refundable once the subscription has been activated.

We may change pricing from time to time. Price changes apply only to new subscription periods and are announced in advance.

10. Trial period

Every new account receives a 30-day free trial with full access to every feature. No payment details are required to start the trial.

At the end of the trial, if no subscription has been purchased, the account automatically switches to read-only mode. Your data remains intact and becomes fully accessible again as soon as a subscription is activated.

11. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. The account continues to work normally until the end of the period you have already paid for; no refund is issued for unused time.

After cancellation, your data is retained for 90 days so you can return without losing anything. After that, it is permanently deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Third-party services

The service integrates with, or depends on, third-party providers such as WhatsApp (for messaging), Telegram channels (for market data), and Sham Cash (for payments). Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for outages, errors, or changes introduced by third-party providers, but we will make reasonable efforts to maintain and, where necessary, replace those integrations.

13. Disclaimers and no warranty

The service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Golder disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, although we work hard to approach that goal.

14. Limitation of liability and force majeure

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Golder will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the total fees you paid to Golder in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We are also not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, power failures, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, strikes, or government action.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Golder and its developers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your violation of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service, in whole or in part, if:

  • You materially breach these terms and fail to fix the issue after reasonable notice.
  • Your account is used for unlawful activity or poses a security risk to the platform.
  • We are required to do so by a competent authority or applicable law.
  • The service is discontinued, in which case we will provide as much advance notice as reasonably possible.

On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. You will have a reasonable opportunity to export your data before it is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

17. Governing law, disputes, severability, and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Syria or Turkey, depending on the user’s place of business. Any dispute arising out of or related to these terms or the service will first be addressed through good-faith, direct communication between you and Golder.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it will be submitted to the competent courts of the relevant jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or via WhatsApp. Continued use of the service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
